Christiana Health Care System and the Wilmington HOPE Commission
The Wilmington HOPE Commission has a workforce development program in partnership with Christiana Health Care System which provides employment opportunities. The Wilmington HOPE Commission provides an Enhanced Workforce Development (EWFD) Program that is a 12 week comprehensive program for those seeking employment or better employment. EWFD teaches individual’s basic workforce development skills such as presentation, interview skills, resume writing and then continues with instruction on how to maintain a job and other key employment skills. Upon successful completion of the 12 week program an individual has an opportunity to interview with CHCS for a position in a variety of areas.
This program is open to the general public. The class is free and you can pre-register for the next class on line at www.wilmhope.org.

Today in the United States over two million men and women are in prison. Ninety percent of them will come out. Upon their release from prison, they are likely to return to the same neighborhoods where they lived before incarceration, to the same economic circumstances and carrying the life-altering burden of a criminal record
